Dr. Brian Cambold is an established hospitality management professional and consultant based in Orlando, Florida.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Hospitality Management,  a Master’s in Business Administration  (MBA), and a Doctorate's Degree in Organizational Development with a focus in Hospitality Management.  His dissertation research focused on the question “How does theming enhance the guest experience and view on perceived value within a theme park?”  His research aimed to advance the 
understanding of theming and the importance it carries in order for park operators to remain competitive in the 21st century.

Brian’s professional experience includes over fifteen years within the hospitality and tourism industry.  He conducted a marketing internship at Universal Orlando in 2002, and continued into Attractions Operations from 2003-2014.  During his tenure within the Attractions Operations department, he carried several roles including a JAWS skipper, Earthquake! show host, and Men in Black: Alien Attack attendant.  He moved up within the department with several years of 
experience as a Team Leader (Universal’s version of a shift manager) at the Earthquake!, Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride…Starring You!, Men in Black: Alien Attack, and Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man attractions within both parks at Universal Orlando.  Brian has also operations implementation of the family entertainment center Hukoo’s Family Fun in Orlando, Florida.  He has since gone on to continue his passion as a Learning and Development Consultant for several other Fortune 500 companies including the Walt Disney’s Partners Federal 

Credit Union.

Brian’s hospitality management education, doctoral research on theming, and professional experience within the hospitality industry allows him to provide valuable contributions to the Theme Park War community.
